On 23rd December, a very serious accident occurred On 23rd December, a very serious accident occurred. My husband is currently critically ill and is an inpatient on an Intensive Care Unit.

Your prayers and messages of love and support have literally held me up when I thought my legs would give way, and help me put one foot in front of the other to walk to my husband's bedside when I felt absolutely terrified.

Lionheart Hypnobirthing is closed for the foreseeable future. This page will be unmanned and messages will most likely be unread.

Please keep Phil, myself and Sam in your thoughts and prayers. We have a very long road ahead.

Well hello there Authur ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ’™ Your mummy te Well hello there Authur ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ’™ Your mummy tells me she felt fully informed during your birth (swipe >>>) WOO HOO ๐Ÿฅฐ.

Lionheart Hypnobirthing is about knowing, to the depths of your soul, that you have everything within you to cope with whatever comes your way in childbirth.

Yes, it's great to have a Plan A. And to know how to help yourself to YOUR most ideal birth. But it's very important to prepare for all types of birth alongside this. That way you're fully informed, in control and prepared for childbirth.

That's the Lionheart way

Happy Sunday ๐Ÿ˜Š
Sam had a Zoom call this afternoon with Santa...oh Sam had a Zoom call this afternoon with Santa...oh how times have changed ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ–ฅ ๐ŸŽ… ....but I think Sam's face tells you just how much he enjoyed it ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

When I moved my entire business online in the spring it was incredibly daunting...figuring out how the hell all the tech worked (I'm a pro now ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜Ž) and wondering if my clients would still enjoy it.

The reality? It is different yes. But I love it. I have taught just over ONE HUNDRED COUPLES hypnobirthing in this way since March ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ. And had so much positive feedback ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. I've taught people who live in the same street as me, AND people in Saudi Arabia.

I know Zoom isn't some people's first choice. I understood that. But what is the alternative? Going into labour with no education? No preparedness? No tools or skills to remain calm? No knowledge of your rights and choices? That's not want I want for any pregnant woman.

I've decided to alternate my group courses between face to face one month, virtual the next. I'm trusting my gut feeling that this is the right thing to do, so no matter where you live in the world, you can join the Lionheart movement and be prepared mind, body and soul for labour, birth and parenting.

And thank you to @santas_lapland_live
....Sam told me that the "Santa at school wasn't the real Santa" but was entirely convinced by your Santa, today making us all happy ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hugest of congratulations Becky and Alan ๐Ÿ˜€

For more info on what I do head to www.lionhearthypnobirthing.com or send me a message saying hi ๐Ÿ‘‹.
I've just overheard these two little guys in conve I've just overheard these two little guys in conversation about Hypnobirthing....their partners have heard it's AMAZING birth preparation, but these two just can't get past it's weird name.

Father Christmas๐ŸŽ… is imagining role play, and "death by PowerPoints" and money down the drain....Mr Elf ๐Ÿง๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ is worried it's going to be all chanting, herb scattering and ringing bells. And that when it comes to labour, it won't work or will all go out the window.

I've reassured them that Lionheart Hypnobirthing courses are NONE of these things. That it is total antenatal, labour and birth preparation for all of them.

No witchcraft, spells or being put in a trance. Instead....knowledge and practical tools to understand birth, remove fear, build confidence and relaxation, practical tools to keep birth simple and more comfortable, enjoyable and empowering. All to help them and their partners feel calm, in control and prepared for labour, birth and parenthood.

I've reassured them that I combine my knowledge, skills and experience as a former midwife, health visitor and now hypnobirthing teacher, to bring them a total antenatal and labour course that will prepare them BOTH for birth.

Snuck in some recent feedback too, swipe >>>>

Find out more using the web link in my bio, or just message me for a chat. January's face to face group course has only 2 places left ๐Ÿฆโค, February's group course is virtual and has had a few booking already ๐Ÿ˜€.

Wishing you a relaxing evening.

I used to worry ALOT about my clients who'd needed I used to worry ALOT about my clients who'd needed forceps, ventouse or caesarean births. Were they annoyed with me? Were they disappointed that hypnobirthing with me hadn't seemed to "work"? Did they want their money back?

Yet, I received messages of thanks from my clients who experienced these types of births. Thanking me for giving them the tools to remain calm and in control during their births. And I realised a while back that birth doesn't have to be "perfect" to be positive.

I appreciate that nobody puts an assisted birth (forceps/ventouse) or emergency surgical birth at the top of their birth plan.

But, at the same time, I teach my clients that these types of births are not the enemy of birth. They can and do save lives. And we can show relief and gratitude for the technology that is available in the event of true medical need.

I pride myself on offering a positive, supportive, empowering and no-nonsense approach to preparing for labour, birth and parenthood. I prepare expectant couples for the arrival of their baby mind, body and soul - however that happens for them. I prepare them for all types of birth.

I teach my clients not only how to reduce the likelihood of needing forceps/ventouse/emergency caesareans (and trust me, your mind will be blown and your heart will sing when you realise how much control you have over this, and yes, most of my clients do have very simple and straightforward birth experiences)....

But, I also teach my clients how to cope and remain calm should their births take a different path. Should they require medical assistance to birth their babies, my clients know they have a whole toolkit of calming techniques to use.

It means the world to me that people look back on their birth experiences as something which was empowering, calm, fear free.

I have group hypnobirthing courses running each month with dates up to May next year. They are a mixture of online and face to face. I also take a small handful of 121 clients.
